
FROM TY: I'm from southern Louisiana and I haven't found any restaurants in Los Angeles that make Cajun food up to par for me (No offense to anyone :D). Due to this, when I want to have a taste of home I will usually just cook Cajun food at home for my friends and I. Most of the time I call my dad to help me, but when he's not available I'll use recipes from my favorite youtube chef, The Cajun Ninja. This is his recipe for red beans and rice, a Monday night staple in Louisiana. There are many theories why we eat beans on a Monday but no one really knows for sure. Tradition is tradition okay.
